EMPIRE STATE OF STYLE

Although the Olympics of street style started in Paris with Haute Couture, New York Fashion Week wasn't any less extravagant and eccentric. The national anthem of those two fashion weeks should have been Let it snow, Let it snow! by Frank Sinatra. Snow was similar to a torch that passed from Paris to New York. But even extreme snowdrifts were not a serious obstacle for fashionistas because, you know, fashion never backs down.

Caught in motion: sporting high heels, thin coats, and spring dresses.

My personal favourites are street style veterans: the leader of the russian gang Miroslava Duma and the 2nd most important redhead Taylor Tomasi Hill. But there are also few newcomers who will take your breath away. Sometimes the perks is in not knowing names because as sang by Alicia Keys:

These streets will make you feel brand new
Big lights will inspire you, let's hear it for from New York
