After watching "The Holiday" and "Love Actually" for 20th time i decided to watch something new. And "Sleepless in Seattle", starring Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan, turned out to be nearly ancient, considering the fact that it came out 2 years before I was born. However, it was perfect for bringing the Christmas mood after a bunch of shitty exams.
I think I have never seen a romcom with so many cliches (I'm really picky with movies), but it's so heartwarming and kind, especially the adorable kid that keeps you watching. It took me 106 minutes to fall in love with this movie and yes, that's a chick's movie.
Annie: That statistic is not true!
Becky: That's right it's not true, but it feels true.
Dennis Reed: Annie, when you're attracted to someone, it just means that your subconscious is attracted to their subconscious, subconsciously. So what we think of as fate is just two neuroses knowing that they are a perfect match.
