113 black-and-white photographs are decorating walls of Artplay's loft (Artplay - one of the most evolving art-clusters in Moscow). Anna Wintour, Alexander Wang, Carine Roitfeld, Natalia Vodianova, Kanye West, Dakota Fanning and many other A-listers of the entertainment and fashion industries. What could possibly bring them all together? Apart from Met Gala, it could only be Chanel. This superb collaboration between Karl Lagerfeld and Carine Roitfeld, as photographer and stylist respectively, captured all those extraordinary artists in black-and-white.
Thanks to the great arrangement of the lights the photographs are even more captivating, it's like light is illuminating from them. My personal favorites are pregnant Charlotte Gainsbourg (above, left) and Carine Roitfeld (below, left) as, the legendary woman, without whom none of this would be possible, Coco Chanel.
Coco Chanel once said "in order to be irreplaceable one must always be different". This amazing exhibition shows 113 ways of being different with the same "little black jacket". The exhibition has already taken place in Tokyo, New York, Taipei, Hong Kong, London and Moscow. Click here to find out when it's coming to your city.
